Automatic intelligent interactive sampling robot Shencai appears at the World Robotics Congress
On August 18th, Shencai, an automatic intelligent interactive sampling robot developed by the Key Laboratory of Robot Perception and Intelligence in the South University of Science and Technology of China, was invited to exhibit at the Beijing World Robotics Congress.
The sampling robot realizes the functions of collecting personal information, taking and placing test tubes, automatically scraping and sampling, sample collection, disinfection, etc., and can completely replace the medical staff to conduct independent sampling, effectively reduce the risk of cross-infection and reduce the burden of medical staff. It has a broad application prospect. In functional design, the robot has multiple sampling modes, such as single sampling, five mixed sampling, ten mixed sampling, and twenty mixed sampling, which can be switched according to needs. The swabs and test tubes used for sampling are the same as those used for manual sampling, which can be fully compatible and make use of existing materials. The vision tracking system can automatically find and track the throat of the sampled person, without using additional auxiliary equipment, which is convenient to use. The sampling mechanism has a powerful feedback system, which not only ensures the safety of the sampled personnel, but also ensures the effectiveness of sampling; The mobile chassis also provides great convenience for migration and deployment.
At the conference, the appearance of the sampling robot attracted the attention of many audiences and journalists, and its convenience and rapidity of robot won the unanimous praise from the experiencers.
